You step outside waiting for the world to greet you with a smile
You walk down the street to find it bitter and cold
Just like the past night when you could not get sleep
Tossing and turning you could not find your niche

So you got up and took some Motrin from mommy
It stopped the ache from your tooth and the one from your tummy

But you sleep real crappy all though the night
The next day is morning and you don’t wanna wake
You had a sweet dream about true love on a date
It seemed that the dream would never come true
By the number of boys who DON’T look at you.
You do what you can to try and stay cute
You want to just forward through life so you can go "ha ha suckas look at me now!"

You think why is it that best friends are so close yet seem so far,
Why no matter were you go or how much you talk it never quite comes up
Like a train with missing tracks, it’s one fucked up ride

Yet you swallow it up and keep a brave face
You don’t let it show how much you hate this place
Those dingy walls and classes so long
And the fact that you are always so…wrong!!!
Wrong as in it doesn’t feel right

And so you turn your back and finally face head on into the cold.
